    GEORGIA STEAD

Essentially all the compartments of my brain spilled onto one web page. With lots of Sex and the City references.

I am a visual learner. I find inspiration visually, 9 times out of 10. I recently came across this shoot from Elle France, the March issue and felt in complete adoration of it. The makeup artist is Violette, who I have recently come across on YouTube, coincidentally. Her entire philosophy and use of makeup as an art, but through a minimalist form, is something I am an admirer, and follower of. I've been so uninspired at the moment and I haven't felt compelled to play with my makeup until now. After seeing this entire shoot, my google search history has consisted of "pink cosmetic pigment" and "pink gold gel glitter" amongst other makeup related searches.

Not only is Violette's own makeup so imperfectly perfect, but her artistry is so pleasing to look at, and there is even a video of this whole shoot, which I scoured and slowed down in order find all of the products and the brands she used for these vibrant pinks and holographic tones.

Even though it's not a post of philosophical thinking (or complaining), I thought it was worth making a note of to remind myself, and anyone who reads this, that there is always room for fun within the everyday moments of life. Also, try new stuff with makeup because it'll feel like an accomplishment and will make you happy. Nothing beats that feeling.
